TCSIG Biometric Screening FAQs

Registration

Who is PlushCare?

PlushCare offers telemedicine services and lab testing for patients across the U.S. We have partnered with Delta TeamCare for over a year to bring better health outcomes to patients. Visit PlushCare.com to see a doctor using your smartphone, or order a lab test. You can download the PlushCare app on the iOS App Store and Android Play Store to access a doctor wherever you are.

Who can participate?

In order to be eligible to participate, you need to be:
A TCSIG employee, retiree, spouse of an employee, or dependent of an employee (age 18+) on the TCSIG medical plan.

How do I schedule an appointment?

You can go to http://tcsig.plushcare.com/ and click on “Register”. After entering your information, you will be taken to a screen where you may select your appointment date and time. Employees, retirees, spouses, and dependents will need to register and have their own account.

Do I need to register?

Yes, in order to participate you will need to register. This allows us to prepare for your appointment and send you your test results.

I am the spouse or dependent of an employee. Do I need to register?

Yes, spouses and dependents will also need to register in order to participate. You cannot have a combined account with your spouse or dependent; every individual needs to have their own account.

I don’t know how to use the computer!

You can call Delta TeamCare at (866) 724-0032, who can talk you through the setup requirements, including submitting the HRA.

How do I login to my profile?

You may go to http://tcsig.plushcare.com/ and click on "Login" in the top right corner. You will use your email address and the password that you created during registration to log in.

How do I reset my password?

When logging in, you can select an option to reset your password. Otherwise, call 1-866-692-1986 and a PlushCare Care Coordinator can help you!

How do I get my lab slip?

You won’t need to worry about having your lab slip. As long as you are registered online and come to your appointment time, we will have you on file. Similarly, if you selected to go on your own time to a Quest location, you only need to bring a valid form of ID.When visiting a Quest Lab, please inform the Quest team: “I have an Electronic Order”.

Appointments

Do I need to fast beforehand?

To get the most accurate results we recommend you fast 10-12 hours before your blood draw. If you do not fast beforehand or your doctor recommends against it, you can still have your blood drawn. Just keep this in mind when reviewing results.

I forgot day / time when my appointment is. Can you tell me?

You should have been sent a confirmation email to the email address you signed up with. If you log on to your profile, you will be taken to the confirmation page with your appointment information. This includes the appointment date and time. Otherwise, Delta TeamCare can tell you your appointment details. Just call (866) 724-0032.

Can I just show up without an appointment?

You can show up to any of the onsite testing dates. Wait times will vary based on availability, and you will need to add extra time for registering and filling out appropriate forms. You cannot show up to a Quest location without registering first. When visiting a Quest Lab, please inform the Quest team: “I have an Electronic Order”.

How do I change or cancel my appointment?

You can change or cancel your appointment by logging into your account and going to your dashboard. There is an option to cancel your appointment under your existing appointment. To change your appointment, cancel your appointment and book a new one.

How long does the blood draw take?

The entire appointment should take 10 minutes and will be quick, easy, and confidential!

Do I need to bring anything to my Quest appointment?

When visiting a Quest Lab, please inform the Quest team: “I have an Electronic Order”. You will need a valid ID. It helps to bring your printed lab requisition, but is not required.

Health Risk Assessment (HRA)

What is an HRA?

Health Risk Assessment: A questionnaire used to provide individuals with an evaluation of their health risks and quality of life.

What will my HRA do for me?

The HRA is optional. You do not need to complete it in order to receive the incentive.

How do I access my HRA?

You can login to your PlushCare account, go to your profile, and click on "HRA" in the drop down. If you have already completed your HRA, all your answers are stored in your profile.

Did I already complete my HRA?

Have you registered? If so, you can login to your PlushCare profile to see whether or not you have completed the HRA. Go to your profile and click on "Health Risk Assessment" on the left side.

I started my HRA but was interrupted; do I have to start over?

Sadly yes, if you closed out the window before completing the HRA, you will have to write out your answers again. If the window is still open, you should be able to continue your answers.

Lab Results

How long does it take to get my results?

It should take 3-5 days to get your results back to you.

How do I access my results?

After 3-5 days from your appointment time, you will receive an email saying your results are ready to view. You can access your results by logging into the PlushCare website using your username and password. In the top right corner, you can click on “Results”.

Can I print my results? How?

Yes you can. Log into your PlushCare account, click your name in top right hand corner, which reveals a drop down menu. In the menu, click Lab results and on the next screen, there is a Print button in the right hand corner of the page.

Can you review my results with me?

PlushCare cannot review your results, but you can call Delta TeamCare at (866) 724-0032 to speak with a Delta Health Coach.

Why are my results not available?

Have long has it been since you got your test taken? It typically takes 3-5 days before your results come back. If it’s past 5 days, give us a call at 1-866-692-198 and we can assist you. A PlushCare Care Coordinator will contact Quest directly to get the results faxed to us and over to you upon review by our lead physician.
